Serve as a Coach or Mentor

You don't need a title or a degree — just a willing, steady heart and a little time. Tell us about you and we'll reach out. Every application reaches a real person, and most reach the pastor directly. And we'll be upfront and clear with you: applying to be a mentor or life coach does not mean someone is ready — or able — to be one yet. There are questions we will ask, and an evaluation period while we get to know you. It is never a matter of "you don't qualify" — some people simply aren't ready to be a mentor or coach to somebody yet, and finding that out together, honestly, is part of the process.

Tell us about yourself

If you have a true heart and you're ready to go, let us know — we're looking for you. Yes, you. And we want to sit down and take the time to make sure you're the right fit, because the people you'll walk with deserve nothing less.

Join our prison ministry team as we go and minister to the prisoners on the inside. When you're ready, we'll line you up and set you up with a mentee to guide when they come out — someone counting on a steady hand on the other side of the gate.

In the Application Details, speak to these:

  • What do you know about mentorship?
  • Have you had a mentor?
  • What makes you confident that you are ready to mentor someone else?
  • Do you feel a mentor has to be someone older than you?
  • What does a healthy mentor–mentee relationship look like to you?

If you are accepted as part of our team — ready to spread the word and lead by example — one brief qualifying questionnaire stands between you and the work, and we look forward to having you walk this path with us.

“I am a man who has been called, not appointed by men. If you need prayer, I will pray. If you need someone to believe in you, I believe in you. God is not finished with you.”
