Ministry Prayer Life ("we," "us," "our," or "the Ministry") is a faith-based prayer and pastoral outreach. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit ministryprayerlife.com, call our 24/7 prayer hotline at (833) 994-2437, submit a prayer request, make a donation, or otherwise interact with the Ministry.
By using our site or services, you consent to the practices described below.

Ministry Prayer Life is the prayer and pastoral outreach ministry led by Pastor Matt Maycumber. We exist to receive prayer requests, intercede on behalf of those who reach out to us, and walk alongside callers in moments of need — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Directly
Contact details: First name, last name, phone number, email address.
Prayer request content: The text or spoken content of prayer requests you submit.
Communications: Messages, voicemails, SMS exchanges, and emails sent to us.
Donation information: Name, billing details, donation amount, and payment method (processed through third-party payment processors — see Section 6).
Optional fields: City, denomination, testimonies, anonymous indicator if selected.
B. Information Collected Automatically
Voice call data: When you call our prayer hotline, your call is answered by Mary, our AI voice agent. Calls are recorded, transcribed, and stored. Inbound caller ID is captured.
Website usage: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring source, time on site, and similar analytics data via Google Analytics 4 and standard server logs.
Cookies and tracking technologies: We use cookies for session management, analytics, and preference storage. You may disable cookies in your browser; some features may not function as expected.
C. Information from Third Parties
Payment processors may share transaction confirmation data with us.
If you arrive from a partner site or social platform, referral metadata may be shared with us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Receive, process, and respond to prayer requests.
Have Pastor Matt or the ministry team follow up personally where requested or where pastoral care is needed.
Identify and respond to crisis situations (see Section 9).
Send follow-up SMS or email communications related to your prayer request, where you have opted in.
Process donations and issue donation confirmations.
Maintain internal ministry records and prayer logs.
Improve our services, content, and outreach.

4. AI Voice Agent Disclosure
Calls placed to our prayer hotline (833) 994-2437 are first answered by Mary, our AI voice agent. Mary collects your first name and prayer request, offers scripture and prayer, and routes call summaries to Pastor Matt for follow-up.
Calls are recorded and transcribed.
Call audio and transcripts are stored in our ministry records system.
Crisis-related keywords trigger immediate notification to Pastor Matt for personal follow-up.

If you do not wish to interact with an AI voice agent, you may end the call at any time and contact us by email at [email protected].
5. SMS Messaging
If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you SMS messages related to:
Confirmation that your prayer request was received.
Follow-up check-ins after your call or submission.
Crisis support follow-up.
Salvation decision follow-up.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP. We comply with A2P 10DLC standards and CTIA SMS guidelines.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Ministry's communications and infrastructure, including:
A customer relationship management (CRM) and automation platform that hosts our prayer records, voice agent, SMS, and email.
Google Analytics 4 — website usage analytics.
A voice synthesis provider that powers our AI agent's voice.
Payment processors — donation processing. Stripe
Email delivery services for ministry communications.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
7. Donations and Tax Status
Ministry Prayer Life is not currently registered as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with the Internal Revenue Service. Donations made to Ministry Prayer Life are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions under federal law at this time.
We will provide a donation receipt for your records, but you should consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any contribution. If our tax status changes in the future, this policy will be updated.
Donations support the ongoing work of the Ministry, including the 24/7 prayer hotline, prison ministry, homeless outreach, and pastoral follow-up.
8. Confidentiality of Prayer Requests
Prayer requests are treated with discretion and respect. Access is limited to Pastor Matt and authorized ministry team members for the purposes of prayer, follow-up, and pastoral care.
You may request that your prayer be submitted anonymously by selecting the anonymous option on our submission form. In that case, we will not associate your name with the prayer text in our records.
Important: While we treat prayer communications with discretion, our communications are not protected by formal clergy-penitent privilege in all circumstances. See Section 9 regarding crisis situations.
9. Crisis Situations and Mandatory Disclosures
If during a call or communication you indicate imminent risk of harm to yourself or others (including suicidal ideation, abuse, or active danger), we may:
Provide you with emergency resources, including 911 and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Notify Pastor Matt for immediate pastoral follow-up.
In limited circumstances, disclose information to emergency responders or as required by applicable law.
This Ministry is not a substitute for emergency services or licensed mental health care. If you are in danger, call 911 immediately.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information and prayer-related records for as long as necessary to provide ongoing pastoral care, comply with legal obligations, and maintain ministry records. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 12), subject to limited exceptions for legal or pastoral integrity reasons.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can remove it.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your personal information.
Withdraw consent for SMS or email communications.
