Ministry Prayer Life is the prayer and pastoral outreach ministry led by Minister Matthew Maycumber, operating as Ministry Prayer Life LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company. We exist to receive prayer requests, intercede on behalf of those who reach out to us, and walk alongside callers in moments of need — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Prayer request content: The text or spoken content of prayer requests you submit.
  • Communications: Messages, voicemails, SMS exchanges, chat and social media messages, and emails sent to us.
  • Donation information: Name, billing details, donation amount, and payment method (processed through PayPal, our third-party payment processor — see Section 7).
  • Optional fields: City, denomination, testimonies, anonymous indicator if selected.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Voice call data: When you call our prayer hotline, your call is answered by Queen Esther, our AI voice agent. Calls are recorded, transcribed, and stored. Inbound caller ID is captured.

C. Information from Third Parties

  • Payment processors may share transaction confirmation data with us.
  • If you arrive from a partner site or social platform, referral metadata may be shared with us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Receive, process, and respond to prayer requests.
  • Have Pastor Matt or the ministry team follow up personally where requested or where pastoral care is needed.
  • Identify and respond to crisis situations (see Section 10).
  • Send follow-up SMS or email communications related to your prayer request, where you have opted in.
  • Process donations and issue donation confirmations.
  • Maintain internal ministry records and prayer logs.
  • Improve our services, content, and outreach.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. AI Voice Agent Disclosure (Queen Esther)

Calls placed to our prayer hotline (833) 902-2437 are first answered by Queen Esther, our AI voice agent. Queen Esther collects your first name and prayer request, offers scripture and prayer, and routes call summaries to the ministry team for follow-up.

  • Calls are recorded and transcribed.
  • Call audio and transcripts are stored in our ministry records system.
  • Crisis-related keywords trigger immediate notification to the ministry team for personal follow-up.
  • Queen Esther is not a licensed counselor, therapist, medical professional, or attorney. See our Disclaimer for full details.

If you do not wish to interact with an AI voice agent, you may end the call at any time and contact us by email at [email protected].

5. AI Chat Agent Disclosure (King David)

  • King David is not a licensed counselor, therapist, medical professional, or attorney. See our Disclaimer for full details.

If you prefer not to interact with an AI chat assistant, say so in the conversation at any time, or contact us by email at [email protected], and a ministry team member will respond directly.

6. SMS Messaging

Ministry Prayer Life sends text messages from our toll-free prayer line, (833) 902-2437.

How you opt in. You are added only when you tick the SMS consent box on a prayer request form on this website and provide your mobile number. Those forms appear on our home page, Welcome, Give & Connect, and Ways to Serve pages. We never add anyone who has not ticked that box. Consent is not a condition of receiving prayer or any other service from the Ministry. Calling us, replying to one of our messages, or sending us a text does not by itself enroll you in text messages — enrollment happens only through the website consent box described above.

If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you SMS messages related to:

  • Confirmation that your prayer request was received.
  • Follow-up check-ins after your call or submission.
  • Crisis support follow-up.
  • Salvation decision follow-up.

We send no marketing or promotional content. Replies are assisted by an automated ministry assistant, with human follow-up by the ministry team.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP. Our SMS program follows CTIA messaging guidelines and applicable toll-free messaging standards.

No Sharing of Mobile Information. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. Your mobile information is used only to deliver the messages you have requested and is shared solely with the service providers strictly necessary to send them (such as our messaging platform and mobile carriers).

7. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Ministry’s communications and infrastructure, including:

  • A customer relationship management (CRM) and automation platform that hosts our prayer records, voice and chat agents, SMS, and email.
  • Google Analytics 4 — website usage analytics.
  • A voice synthesis provider that powers our AI agent’s voice.
  • Payment processor — donation processing (PayPal, as Ministry Prayer Life LLC).
  • Email delivery services for ministry communications.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell your personal information to any third party, and we do not share your SMS opt-in or mobile information with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

8. Donations and Tax Status

Ministry Prayer Life is not currently registered as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with the Internal Revenue Service. Donations made to Ministry Prayer Life are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions under federal law at this time.

We will provide a donation receipt for your records, but you should consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any contribution. If our tax status changes in the future, this policy will be updated.

Donations support the ongoing work of the Ministry, including the 24/7 prayer hotline, prison ministry, homeless outreach, and pastoral follow-up.

9. Confidentiality of Prayer Requests

Prayer requests are treated with discretion and respect. Access is limited to Pastor Matt and authorized ministry team members for the purposes of prayer, follow-up, and pastoral care.

You may request that your prayer be submitted anonymously by selecting the anonymous option on our submission form. In that case, we will not associate your name with the prayer text in our records.

Important: While we treat prayer communications with discretion, our communications are not protected by formal clergy-penitent privilege in all circumstances. See Section 10 regarding crisis situations.

10. Crisis Situations and Mandatory Disclosures

If during a call or communication you indicate imminent risk of harm to yourself or others (including suicidal ideation, abuse, or active danger), we may:

  • Provide you with emergency resources, including 911 and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
  • Notify the ministry team for immediate pastoral follow-up.
  • In limited circumstances, disclose information to emergency responders or as required by applicable law.

This Ministry is not a substitute for emergency services or licensed mental health care. If you are in danger, call 911 immediately.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information and prayer-related records for as long as necessary to provide ongoing pastoral care, comply with legal obligations, and maintain ministry records. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 13), subject to limited exceptions for legal or pastoral integrity reasons.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can remove it.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Withdraw consent for SMS or email communications.
